Quarter-Finals Round 4: Panathinaikos - FCB Regal 60-70

Barcelona Regal stole a show from 18,000-plus fans at O.A.K.A. and tied the Quarterfinal series against Panathinaikos Athens at 2-2. The Spanish team posted a 70:60 win and will play the decisive game at home. Barcelona Regal opened the game with 20-10 lead but had some difficulties in the second frame. Panathinaikos Athens managed to come back into the game with a 17-11 surge in the second period and reduced to 4 points at the halftime. The second half however belonged to the Spanish side. Barcelona Regal posted a 12-0 run midway through the third quarter and grabbed a 45:31 lead after Marcelinho Huertas's three-pointer. Michael Bramos closed the frame at 51:37, while Erazem Lorbek brought the biggest lead in the game at 57:40. Panathinaikos Athens played better at the very end and cut it to final 10 points. Juan Carlos Navarro top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Ante Tomic netted 16. Marcelinho Huertas delivered 10, whilst Erazem Lorbek added 8. Michael Bramos replied with 15 points in defeat and Sofoklis Schortsanitis scored 13. Stephane Lasme delivered 12 and Jonas Maciulis added 11.
