Not a big story in a game when Kaposvari (0-2) was edged at home by ZTE KK (2-0) 83-81 on Wednesday. Kaposvari was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 18-14 charge of ZTE KK, which allowed them to win the game. They shot 62.7 percent from the field. ZTE KK outrebounded Kaposvari 31-19 including a 24-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Justin Safford (204-87, college: Missouri, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import point guard Gerald Boston (178, college: Barton, NC, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) contributed with 16 points for the winners.
