Regular Season Round 2: Szedeak - Alba 75-84

Date: October 9, 2013
Hosts were defeated by Alba (2-0) 84-75. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Alba made 9 blocks. The former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: TSS Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Braydon Hobbs (196-89, college: Bellarmine) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Alba's coach Carlos Frade used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Szedeak. Five Szedeak players scored in double figures. Alba is looking forward to face Marso NYKK in Nyiregyhazi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Szedeak will play on the road against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
