Everything went according to plan in Paks where Atomeromu (3-0) outscored Kaposvari (0-3) 97-73 on Sunday. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Atomeromu looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Kaposvari was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati) helped adding 15 points and 8 assists. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Coach Branislav Dzunic's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was the former international Roland Hendlein (203-86, agency: TSS Management) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and international Marton Fodor (191-81, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Atomeromu will face Falco KC (#9) in Szombathely in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kaposvari will play at home against Jaszberenyi and hopes to get finally their first victory.
