Very important is a road loss of third ranked Jaszberenyi (3-1) against tenth ranked Kaposvari (1-3) on Wednesday night. Visiting Jaszberenyi was defeated by Kaposvari in a tough game in Kaposvar 72-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jaszberenyi. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-20. But Jaszberenyi won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kaposvari made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Roland Hendlein (203-86, agency: TSS Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Louis Hinnant (193-84, college: Boston Coll., agency: IBS) who added 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84, agency: BeoExcell) responded with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland) scored 4 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Kaposvari left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Szedeak and PVSK Pannon. Loser Jaszberenyi keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with ZTE KK and Alba. Kaposvari will meet at home higher ranked Alba (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Jaszberenyi will play against the league's second-placed KTE-Duna Aszfalt having rather not much hope for a victory.
