Regular Season Round 2: MKB Eurl.Vasas - MTK 50-65

An interesting game for MTK (1-1) which played road game in Budapest against MKB Eurl.Vasas (1-3). MTK had an easy win 65-50. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-50. MTK made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 MKB Eurl.Vasas turnovers. Bosnian center Dragana Svitlica (190-88, agency: IPSA) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Dora Medgyessy (174-86) supported her with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 12 points and 9 rebounds by power forward Judit Barnai (190-94) did not help to save the game for MKB Eurl.Vasas. Guard Szandra Pal (176-86, college: SE Missouri St.) added 10 points for the hosts. MKB Eurl.Vasas' coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. MTK will meet Atomeromu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MKB Eurl.Vasas will play against ZTE NKK in Zalaegerszeg and hope to win that game.
