Undefeated ZTE KK (3-1) recorded its first loss on the court of seventh ranked Sopron KC. Visitors were defeated by Sopron KC 66-53. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ZTE KK. The game was mostly controlled by Sopron KC. ZTE KK was better in second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (208-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American guard Jonathon Thompson (193-90, college: Rider) contributed with 10 points and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Justin Safford (204-87, college: Missouri) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Gerald Boston (178, college: Barton, NC, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for ZTE KK. Sopron KC (2-2) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kormend. ZTE KK at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with Jaszberenyi and Alba. Sopron KC will play against Kormend (#6) at home in the next round. ZTE KK will play against the league's leader Atomeromu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
