Regular Season Round 4: EI Massagno - Neuchatel 71-101

Date: October 26, 2013
Undefeated leader Neuchatel delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked EI Massagno (0-4) 101-71. The game without a history. Neuchatel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-21 charity shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Neuchatel forced 19 EI Massagno turnovers and outrebounded them 38-26 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his seven free throws). American guard P'Allen Stinnett (191-87, college: Missouri Western) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Neuchatel players scored in double figures. American power forward Dante Taylor (206-90, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Three Eye Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Ken Rancifer (196-91, college: San Diego) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for EI Massagno. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neuchatel have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. EI Massagno at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Neuchatel will play against Boncourt (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. EI Massagno will play against Geneve Lions and hopes to get finally their first victory.
