Leader Atomeromu delivered the sixth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked PVSK Pannon (2-5) 81-62 in Paks. The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. PVSK Pannon was better in third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded PVSK Pannon 45-23 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American Rodney McGruder (193-91, college: Kansas St.) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Atomeromu's coach Branislav Dzunic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International guard Peter Kovacs (189-88) produced 20 points and Croatian swingman Veljko Budimir (199-85) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Atomeromu maintains first place with 6-1 record, which they share with KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Loser PVSK Pannon dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Atomeromu will face Alba (#3) in Szekesfehervar in the next round, which may be the game of the day. PVSK Pannon will play on the road against Jaszberenyi (#6) and hope to win that game.
