Regular Season Round 7: Szedeak - Kaposvari 67-87

The biggest surprise of round 7 in A Division was guest Kaposvari's (4-3) easy road victory over Szedeak (#8) 87-67 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Szedeak. The game without a history. Kaposvari led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international Roland Hendlein (203-86, agency: TSS Management) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Croatian guard Hrvoje Puljko (193-83, agency: Global Sports Plaza) chipped in 24 points. American forward Jerrell Williams (203-88, college: La Salle) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kaposvari have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with ZTE KK and Jaszberenyi. Szedeak at the other side keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Kaposvari is looking forward to face higher ranked Sopron KC (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Szedeak will play against Falco KC (#12) in Szombathely and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
