The game in Omsk supposed to be also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Rodniki Izh. (4-2) played at the court of 7th ranked BK 1716 (3-5). Rodniki Izh. smashed BK 1716 96-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BK 1716. The game was mostly controlled by Rodniki Izh.. BK 1716 was better in second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rodniki Izh. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to BK 1716's 36 and made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Rodniki Izh. forced 25 BK 1716 turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Stanislav Dubinin (196-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Aleksey Osokin (177-89) accounted for 20 points and 4 assists. Five Rodniki Izh. players scored in double figures. Guard Nikolay Shlyushinskiy (192-88) came up with 12 points and point guard Vladimir Emelianov (180-94) added 4 points and 6 assists respectively for BK 1716 in the defeat. BK 1716's coach Oleg Krylov gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Rodniki Izh. moved-up to fifth place which they share with defeated BK 1716. BK 1716 at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Rodniki Izh.'s next round opponent will be league's leader BK Tambov on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
