No shocking result in a game when second ranked MBA Moscow (7-1) smashed at home 6th ranked Elbrus Cherk. (4-8) 76-51 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by MBA Moscow. Elbrus Cherk. was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ivan Vadeev (200-93) fired 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Alexander Tikhonin (205-92) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. MBA Moscow's coach Valeri Sizov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mikhail Zubov (197-91) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Roman Bazhunaishvili (199-90) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for MBA Moscow. Newly promoted MBA Moscow maintains second place with 7-1 record behind leader BK Tambov. Elbrus Cherk. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
