The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Neftekhimik T. (9-1) in Tobolsk on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (6-4) 74-67. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 26-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for center Dmitriy Ponosov (220-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Konstantin Breev (196-83) helped adding 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sojuz Zaretchny players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Konstantin Novikov (202-87) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and guard Ilya Chernov (188-89) scored 15 points. Neftekhimik T.'s coach Aleksei Lobanov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sojuz Zaretchny maintains fourth place in League with 6-4 record. Neftekhimik T. at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Sojuz Zaretchny are looking forward to face Kamit-Univ. (#8) in Tver in the next round. Neftekhimik T. will play at home against Sogdiana-Skif (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
