Neuchatel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to EI Massagno's 30. They outrebounded EI Massagno 46-29 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neuchatel maintains second place with 8-3 record having just two points less than leader Lugano Tigers. EI Massagno at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Neuchatel's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Boncourt (#8) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. EI Massagno will play against Geneve Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
