Regular Season Round 20: Tegas DR - Dynamo-MGTU 78-93

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Dynamo-MGTU's (9-7) road victory over 6th ranked Tegas DR (8-11) 93-78 on Monday. Dynamo-MGTU shot 66.7 percent from the field. They also forced 19 Tegas DR turnovers and had a 24-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dynamo-MGTU shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 68.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!). Forward Ivan Feshchenko (201-91) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Dynamo-MGTU's coach Andrei Sinielnikov let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Andrey Dorofeev (203-90) replied with 18 points and guard Anton Tusikov (189-89) added 16 points in the effort for Tegas DR. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU maintains fifth position in League with 9-7 record. Newly promoted Tegas DR keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will face Elbrus Cherk. (#7) in Cherkessk in the next round.
