Very expected game when 11th ranked Ataman (3-7) lost to sixth ranked Spartak-Prim. (7-5) in Rostov 73-81. 24 personal fouls committed by Ataman helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Alexander Fomin (206-86, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Pavel Gromyko (197-89) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds. Four Spartak-Prim. players scored in double figures. Ukrainian guard Pavel Agapov (198-79) produced 24 points and forward Kirill Pishchalnikov (204-87, college: VCU) added 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts.
