An interesting game for Avtodor (10-1) which played road game in Ryazan against 3rd ranked Ryazan (9-3). Second ranked Avtodor managed to get a 14-point victory 98-84. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Ryazan. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 51-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Avtodor made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Ryazan turnovers. The former international center Fedor Likholitov (210-80, college: VCU, agency: Alti Sport) notched 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Avtodor have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-1 record behind leader Novosybirsk. Loser Ryazan dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Avtodor will meet Ruskon-Mordovia (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ryazan will play against Samara-SGEU (#13) and hope to secure a win.
