A Division top team - Atomeromu (14-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked ZTE KK (5-11) in Paks 88-51. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE KK's 20. Atomeromu forced 20 ZTE KK turnovers and outrebounded them 48-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. American guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati) fired 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. American forward Justin Safford (204-87, college: Missouri, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Doug Plumb (193, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) added 4 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu maintains first position with 14-2 record. ZTE KK lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with PVSK Pannon. Atomeromu will meet league's second-placed KTE-Duna Aszfalt in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ZTE KK will play against Jaszberenyi (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
