The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Kaposvari's (9-7) road loss to fourth ranked Alba (10-5) 73-97 on Saturday. The game without a history. Alba led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. Alba outrebounded Kaposvari 32-18 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kaposvari was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: TSS Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Ramone Moore (193-89, college: Temple) who added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Alba players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Wayne Chism (206-87, college: Tennessee) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Croatian guard Hrvoje Puljko (193-83, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 20 points. Kaposvari's coach Adam Fekete gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Loser Kaposvari keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Alba will face Falco KC (#9) in Szombathely in the next round where they are favorite. Kaposvari will play on the road against PVSK Pannon (#10) in Pecs and hope to win that game.
