The most interesting game of round 21 in the Higher League was only two-point a home defeat of 6th ranked Stroitiel Engels (7-9) to fifth ranked Sogdiana-Skif (8-8) 63-61 in the game for the fifth place. Naturalized Kazakhstan forward Nail Gafarov (198-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and center Yuriy Kochnev (209-89) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was guard Anton Kobylinskiy (195-94) with 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Konstantin Derevyanko (190-87) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Stroitiel Engels' coach Andrey Kobylinskiy rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sogdiana-Skif maintains fifth place in League with 8-8 record. Newly promoted Stroitiel Engels keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
