There was no surprise in Szekesfehervar where 8th ranked Szedeak (6-11) was crushed by third ranked Alba (11-6) 88-60 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Alba led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Szedeak's 32. Alba forced 19 Szedeak turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: TSS Management) who scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Zoltan Supola (190-88) chipped in 21 points and 4 steals. Five Alba players scored in double figures. Alba's coach Carlos Frade felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Levente Csorvasi (210-90, college: Holy Family) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) added 7 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Defending champion maintains third place with 11-6 record having four points less than leader Atomeromu. Szedeak lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Alba will face Jaszberenyi (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Szedeak will play against Kaposvari and hope to win that game.
