There was a surprise result in Szekesfehervar where seventh ranked Falco KC (7-10) defeated 3rd placed Alba (11-6) 81-77 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. The best player for the winners was British point guard Justin Robinson (187-87, college: Rider, agency: Two Points) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. Slovenian forward Zeljko Zagorac (204-81) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Four Falco KC players scored in double figures. American guard Ramone Moore (193-89, college: Temple) produced 21 points and 5 assists and the other American import guard Braydon Hobbs (196-89, college: Bellarmine) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Alba's coach Carlos Frade tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Falco KC maintains seventh place with 7-10 record. Defending champion Alba keeps the third position with six games lost. Falco KC will face higher ranked Sopron KC (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Alba will play against Jaszberenyi and hope to win that game.
