Regular Season Round 9: Bourges - UMMC 77-69 OT

Bourges shock UMMC in overtime in the last game on Wednesday night in EuroLeague. The French side led in the majority of the game, but allowed the guests to tie the score at the end of the fourth period. Due to 13-5 surge Bourges knocked down UMMC and won the game 77:69. UMMC Ekaterinburg suffered their first loss and dropped at 6-1 record. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-10. But UMMC Ekaterinburg won second period 22-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where UMMC Ekaterinburg used huge pressure winning it 15-9 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 5-13. The best player for the winners was Marianna Tolo who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Celine Dumerc chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Diana Taurasi who recorded 23 points and 4 assists and Candace Parker added 9 points and 13 rebounds respectively.
