The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Sopron KC's (11-7) road victory over 7th ranked Falco KC (7-11) in Szombathely 93-86 on Thursday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Falco KC won fourth quarter 31-28. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Falco KC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (207-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Chad Timberlake (194-84, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Beo Basket) replied with 19 points and 8 assists and guard Zoltan Perl (195-95, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 19 points in the effort for Falco KC. Four Sopron KC and five Falco KC players scored in double figures. Sopron KC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kormend and Kaposvari. Loser Falco KC keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Sopron KC will face Kaposvari (#4) at home in the next round. Falco KC will play against Szedeak in Szeged and hope to win that game.
