Regular Season Round 14: Pully - Hope-Geneve 55-61

Bottom-ranked Hope-Geneve managed to get a second victory, breaking the five-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they won against fifth-ranked Pully 61-55. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pully won fourth quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward Anne Farrell (187-88, college: Centenary, LA) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ljubica Cutunic (186-94) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Canadian forward Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (188-91, college: Simon Fraser) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Sherrie Session (182-90, college: Rhode Island) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Hope-Geneve (2-10) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Martigny and Pully. Pully lost third consecutive game.
