LNA top team - Lugano Tigers (16-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Monthey (9-10) 90-83. The guests were already 22 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 32-17 Monthey's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 90-83 at the end of the game. Lugano Tigers forced 22 Monthey turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a quality performance for swingman Devin Sweetney (198-87, college: St.Francis, PA, agency: IBS) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Matt Schneiderman (204-81, college: N.Iowa) accounted for 26 points and 4 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side.
