Very predictable result in Szekesfehervar where second ranked Alba (14-6) outscored 9th ranked ZTE KK (7-13) 113-83 on Saturday. The game without a history. Alba led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Alba outrebounded ZTE KK 53-20 including a 36-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. ZTE KK was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international center Gergely Somogyi (216-89, college: UCSB) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Ramone Moore (193-89, college: Temple) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Five Alba and four ZTE KK players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alba have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-6 record having just two points less than leader Atomeromu.
