The game in Szekszard was also quite interesting. PINKK-Pecsi (7-4) played at the court of Atomeromu (6-6). PINKK-Pecsi defeated Atomeromu 81-65 on Wednesday. Atomeromu was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 23-5 charge of PINKK-Pecsi, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Atomeromu to just 5 points in fourth quarter. PINKK-Pecsi made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Australian-British forward Louella Tomlinson (193-88, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. International swingman Nikolett Sarok (182-90) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Dorina Zele (185-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Serbian guard Maja Scekic (169-87, agency: IPSA) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Atomeromu in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. PINKK-Pecsi will meet at home ZTE NKK (#7) in the next round. Atomeromu will play against PEAC-Pecs and hope to secure a win.
