Very expected game in Voronezh where 7th ranked Krasn.Krylia S. (6-16) was defeated by third ranked Sogdiana-Skif (14-8) 74-65 on Wednesday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-12. But Krasn.Krylia S. won third quarter 27-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for forward Denis Bzhevskiy (202-78) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Boris Gurev (208-90) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sogdiana-Skif players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sogdiana-Skif moved-up to second place in League. Loser Krasn.Krylia S. keeps the seventh position with 16 games lost. Sogdiana-Skif will face Stary Sobol NT (#4) in Nizhny Tagil in the next round. Krasn.Krylia S. will play at home against Sojuz Zaretchny and hope to win that game.
