The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked AltajBasket's (6-13) home victory over 12th ranked Parma (4-15) 93-66 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by AltajBasket. Parma managed to win third quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AltajBasket shot 61.1 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for AltajBasket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. AltajBasket maintains eleventh position with 6-13 record. Parma lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost. AltajBasket will meet at home higher ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (#10) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Parma will play against Novosybirsk having rather not much hope for a victory.
