Very predictable result in Vladivostok where fifth ranked Spartak-Prim. (14-8) smashed 13th ranked Ataman (4-17) 73-54 on Friday. The game without a history. Spartak-Prim. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Spartak-Prim. shot 19 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Ataman only scored two points from the stripe. Ataman was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Pavel Gromyko (197-89) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Iliya Syrovatko (193-88) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Spartak-Prim. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Andrey Mateyunas (180-88) with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Ukrainian guard Pavel Agapov (198-79) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak-Prim. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 14-8 record, which they share with Dynamo MO. Ataman lost twelfth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 17 games lost.
