Regular Season Round 22: Sopron KC - Szedeak 82-76

Date: March 1, 2014
Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Sopron KC (14-8) defeated at home 8th ranked Szedeak (8-14) 82-76. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It looked good early as Szedeak took an 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Sopron KC had a 29-19 second period charge getting the lead and Szedeak was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-82. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (207-90) supported him with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds by American forward Jerrell Williams (203-88, college: La Salle) did not help to save the game for Szedeak. The former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sopron KC maintains fourth position with 14-8 record. Szedeak at the other side keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Falco KC.
