Second Stage Round 2: Jaszberenyi - Falco KC 87-86

A very close game took place in Jaszberenyi between Jaszberenyi and Falco KC. Jaszberenyi (9-18) got a very close home victory over Falco KC (9-17). Jaszberenyi managed to escape with a 1-point win 87-86 on Friday evening. Falco KC was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 10-point lead after three quarters before a 31-20 charge of Jaszberenyi, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Bosnian guard Mirza Ahmetbasic (193-87, college: Abil.Christian) who scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Croatian center Bruno Sundov (221-80) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Jaszberenyi's coach Srdjan Antic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Serbian guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) produced 18 points and 5 assists and American forward Jonathan Mitchell (200-87, college: Rutgers) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Falco KC players scored in double figures. Jaszberenyi will meet at home ZTE KK (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Falco KC will play against Szedeak in Szeged and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
