Very expected game when 10th ranked MKB Eurl.Vasas (2-14) were crushed on the road by third ranked PEAC-Pecs (12-4) 65-38. The game without a history. PEAC-Pecs led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. PEAC-Pecs forced 30 MKB Eurl.Vasas turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Nora Nagy-Bujdoso (185-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 7 rebounds. Australian center Abby Bishop (189-88) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Power forward Judit Barnai (190-94) answered with 6 points and 11 rebounds and forward Viktoria Bajnoczi (182-90) added 7 points in the effort for MKB Eurl.Vasas. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for PEAC-Pecs. They moved-up to second place. MKB Eurl.Vasas lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. PEAC-Pecs' next round opponent will be again bottom-ranked MKB Eurl.Vasas (#10) in Budapest and are hoping to win another game.
