Rather expected game in Paks where 5th ranked Kaposvari (1-3) was crushed by second ranked Atomeromu (3-1) 90-66. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 34. They outrebounded Kaposvari 44-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. American Rodney McGruder (193-91, college: Kansas St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. The former international Roland Hendlein (205-86, agency: TSS Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Bahamas forward Bennet Davis (206-84, college: Northeastern, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kaposvari. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu maintains second place in Division with 3-1 record having 39 points less than leader Kormend. Kaposvari at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Atomeromu's next round opponent will be Sopron KC (#4) on the road. Kaposvari will play against KTE-Duna Aszfalt in Papa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
