Rather expected game when 4th ranked Sopron KC (2-4) was edged at home by second ranked Atomeromu (4-1) 77-74 on Saturday. Sopron KC was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Atomeromu made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Sopron KC was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach Branislav Dzunic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
