UMMC claimed the third straight win in EuroLeague Final Eight. The hosts toppled USK Praha to win Group B. Candace Parker tallied 16 points and 14 boards for the winners. USK Praha had to win the game to advance into the semifinal stage. And they threw all they had on the plate. The visitors posted a 16:13 lead after ten minutes. UMMC however quickly stopped the rot. The hosts responded with a 23:11 run in the second frame to establish a 36:27 halftime lead. UMMC boosted the margin in the third term. The Russian powerhouse stretched the gap at 18-point mark heading into the fourth frame. USK Praha outscored the home team in the final stanza but could not avoid the defeat. Diana Taurasi chipped in 18 points, while Sandrine Gruda added 14 points and 11 boards for UMMC. Danielle Marie Robinson responded with 13 points for USK Praha. Kia Vaughn had 8 points in the defeat.
