The game between Top Four teams took place in Kormend. First ranked host Kormend (18-14) defeated 3rd ranked Szedeak (15-17) 89-76. The game was mostly controlled by Kormend. Szedeak was better in second period 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kormend won last quarter 27-15. The former international Akos Horvath (193-81, agency: COSMOS International SM) added 16 points for the guests. Five Kormend and four Szedeak players scored in double figures. Kormend maintains first position in Division with 18-14 record. Szedeak at the other side keeps the third place with 17 games lost. Kormend will play against Falco KC (#6) in Szombathely in the next round where they are favorite. Szedeak will play at home against the league's second-placed PVSK Pannon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
