A Division top team - Atomeromu (6-1) added another victory to their record on Monday. This time they beat sixth ranked Alba (2-6) in Szekesfehervar 94-87. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 27-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Atomeromu especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Defending champion Alba keeps the sixth place with six games lost. Atomeromu will meet at home Sopron KC (#5) in the next round. Alba will play against the league's second-placed Szolnok and hope to secure a win.
