Sixth-ranked Alba (2-7) made lots of trouble for second ranked Szolnok (7-1) in Szekesfehervar. The visitors from Szolnok managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Alba was ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 25-15 charge of Szolnok, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85) who saved his team from a defeat with 15 points and 6 rebounds. American Justin Holiday (198-89, college: Washington) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. Guard Zoltan Supola (190-88, agency: COSMOS International SM) answered with 23 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American guard Ramone Moore (193-89, college: Temple) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Alba. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Szolnok maintains second place in Division with 7-1 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Atomeromu. Defending champion Alba keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Szolnok will play against league's leader Atomeromu in Paks in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Alba will play at home against Kaposvari (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
