Regular Season Round 3: Neuchatel - Massagno 93-66

Neuchatel (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed Massagno (0-3) 93-66. The game without a history. Neuchatel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Neuchatel made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. International Brian Savoy (190-92) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Five Neuchatel players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Auston Calhoun (201-90, college: Bowling Green, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Erik Buggs (180-90, college: Valparaiso) added 12 points and 8 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neuchatel will meet Fribourg on the road in the next round. Massagno will play against Starwings and hopes to get finally their first victory.
