Regular Season Round 2: ZTE KK - Alba 74-71

There was a minor upset in Zalaegerszeg where Alba (1-1) was edged by ZTE KK (1-1) 74-71 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Nathan Healy (201-90, college: Appalachian St.) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. International power forward Jozsef Lekli (206-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. ZTE KK's coach Raul Jimenez used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: Connecticut) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import forward Cleveland Melvin (203-91, college: De Paul, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. ZTE KK will face Jaszberenyi on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alba will play against Kormend and hope to win that game.
