Date: October 29, 2014
Very expected game in Paks where Jaszberenyi (2-3) was defeated by Atomeromu (3-1) 82-67 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. Jaszberenyi was better in second period 19-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Jaszberenyi's 26. They outrebounded Jaszberenyi 42-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and naturalized American power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) who added 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Georgy Cseh (208-87, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu moved-up to third place, which they share with Marso NYKK and KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Loser Jaszberenyi keeps the eighth position with three games lost. Atomeromu will face MAFC in Budapest in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jaszberenyi will play at home against PVSK Pannon (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
