Date: October 31, 2014
There was a surprise result in Zalaegerszeg where ZTE NKK (1-2) smashed MTK (1-2) 79-58 on Friday. The game without a history. ZTE NKK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. ZTE NKK outrebounded MTK 42-29 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international forward Dorina Zele (185-92) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. point guard Dora Nagy (170-95) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Judit Barnai (190-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Dora Medgyessy (174-86) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ZTE NKK will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. MTK will play against UNI Gyor and hope to win that game.
