We should mention about the upset which took place in Kaposvar, where higher ranked Marso NYKK (3-2) lost to ninth ranked Kaposvari (2-3) in a road game 80-93 on Saturday. Kaposvari outrebounded Marso NYKK 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Marso NYKK's players. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Roland Hendlein (204-86) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). American Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Five Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Bosnian power forward Nermin Hujdurovic (205-88) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Jeremy Wise (191-86, college: S.Mississippi, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Kaposvari moved-up to eighth place, which they share with PVSK Pannon. Loser Marso NYKK keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Kaposvari will face higher ranked Alba (#5) in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
