Superleague top team - Novosybirsk (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked MBA Moscow (0-6) 98-65. Novosybirsk dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MBA Moscow's 32. They outrebounded MBA Moscow 41-23 including a 30-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Novosybirsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by MBA Moscow's players. It was a great evening for guard Sergey Tokarev (190-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Croatian power forward Jure Skific (202-88) helped adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five Novosybirsk players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Andrey Petukhov (207-86) responded with 22 points and guard Evgeny Chebanenko (193-92, agency: Alti Sport) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Novosybirsk. They maintain first place with 6-0 record, which they share with Parma. MBA Moscow lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with six games lost. Novosybirsk will play against Universitet-Yugra (#9) in Surgut in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MBA Moscow will play at home against AltajBasket (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
