Very expected game when 10th ranked Jaszberenyi (2-5) was smashed on the road by second ranked Sopron KC (5-1) 93-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sopron KC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Jaszberenyi's 26. Sopron KC shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. International point guard Dontay Thomas (187-84, college: La Salle) notched 23 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and American guard Mario Edwards (191-88, college: Co.Carolina) supported him with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Sopron KC players scored in double figures. Sopron KC's coach Balazs Sabali felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds by Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Jaszberenyi. Naturalized Serbian guard Dejan Mladenovic (187-85) added 7 points. Sopron KC maintains second position with 5-1 record having just -1 point less than leader Falco KC, which they share with Atomeromu. Jaszberenyi lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with five games lost. Sopron KC will meet ZTE KK (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
