Regular Season Round 11: Tambov - MBA-Runa 61-50

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked MBA-Runa (3-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Tambov (6-2) 61-50 on Wednesday. Tambov outrebounded MBA-Runa 45-34 including 20 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) who scored 4 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Georgiy Kaminskiy (182-87) chipped in 12 points. Andrey Korolyatin (202-96) produced 2 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Ivan Vadeev (200-93) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Tambov moved-up to third place in League. Newly promoted MBA-Runa dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Tambov will meet at home Kamit-Univ. (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. MBA-Runa will play against the league's second-placed Sojuz Zaretchny and hope to secure a win.
