Regular Season Round 8: Kaposvari - ZTE KK 88-72

There was no surprise when 13th ranked ZTE KK (1-7) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Kaposvari (4-4) 88-72. ZTE KK was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 53-29 second half run of Kaposvari. They shot 61.1 percent from the field. Kaposvari had a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian center Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Kaposvari's coach Adam Fekete allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Nathan Healy (201-90, college: Appalachian St.) replied with 29 points and 7 rebounds and the former international swingman David Gaspar (193-82, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 19 points and 6 steals in the effort for ZTE KK. Kaposvari moved-up to sixth place, which they share with PVSK Pannon. ZTE KK lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Kaposvari will play against Kormend (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. ZTE KK will have a break next round.
