Regular Season Round 6: Atomeromu - Cegledi EKK 80-75

Atomeromu has finally registered their first victory this season after four consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Cegledi EKK (1-4) 80-75 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 25-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Atomeromu forced 20 Cegledi EKK turnovers. Serbian guard Maja Scekic (169-87, agency: IPSA) scored 26 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and center Emese Kovalcsik (191-91) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian Maja Skoric (185-89, agency: IPSA) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Brankica Hadzovic (175-81) scored 20 points and 5 assists. Four Cegledi EKK players scored in double figures. Cegledi EKK's coach Laszlo Cziczas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Atomeromu left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with MTK and Cegledi EKK. Atomeromu is looking forward to face higher ranked PEAC-Pecs (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cegledi EKK will play against UNI Gyor and is hoping to win this game.
